Bloomsbury publishers are making an authentication update to Skills for Study, which will go live on 12th December at 9am.
Following the update, existing users will need to do a one-time confirmation of their email address. This will allow existing users to access their previously saved usage data such as progress, assessment scores, bookmarks and journal entries.
From 12th December, the first time users log in to the site with their institutional username and password (Shibboleth authentication), they will see the page below:
Users who already have an account should click on the “Confirm your email address” button – this is a one-time process. (Brand new users should click the “Create new account” button.)
Once users submit the form, an email will be sent to them containing a verification link which they should click on to complete the process.
The URL will also change. The links from MyGlos and the Library website will be updated to the new URL on 12th December once the update has taken place.
