Library Membership

Joining the Library as an external member.

University of Gloucestershire Library membership is available to anyone with an academic interest. Typically, independent scholars, local professionals, local residents, and former students and staff of the University can apply to become individual members. Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Library membership costs £30 per annum for individuals and £10 per annum for Graduates of and former staff of the University of Gloucestershire. More information is available at External Library Memberships Guide or email us at [email protected]  for further details.

SCONUL Access scheme

SCONUL Access is a scheme which allows many university library users to access study spaces or books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme. Some library users may be able to borrow print books from other libraries too.

Check your eligibility for access to University of Gloucestershire libraries at SCONUL Access and apply for access.

Once you have received a SCONUL approval email from your home university register with the University of Gloucestershire for SCONUL Access
