Study skills
IT and Libraries have a number of tools to help you develop your study skills.
Skills for study online resource
Skills for Study is a multi-media collection of self-paced, self-guided modules to help develop your academic study skills.
Work through each module in turn or focus on the areas you feel you need help to improve.
The first time you log in, you will be asked to set up a personal account using your University of Gloucestershire email address.
study skills team
We have created a Study Skills introduction library topic guide introducing the work of our Study Skills Team. Our Study Skills team is a referral service available to help you improve your study skills and get the most out of your course. Our two Study Skills Advisers are based at FCH and Oxstalls in the Student Centre.
We have also created a resource list for Study skills support materials. The list contains generic study skills support materials available in or through the University libraries.
DigiKnow Tutorials
DigiKnow is a suite of guides and information on digital skills for students to help them with study and in the workplace. Topics such as managing your online presence, learning specific software, designing and creating, and communicating and sharing are explained.
Microsoft Office certification
