Cite them right (requires University of Gloucestershire login) teaches the principles of referencing and avoiding plagiarism and supports the creation of accurate references.

It comprises an hour-long, interactive eLearning referencing tutorial (broken into 5 minute segments), guides to each of the standard referencing styles, advice about referencing and plagiarism, as well as a tool to help students reference 150+ sources.

This comprehensive resource has been developed from the bestselling book Cite them right by Richard Pears and Graham Shields.

Skills for Study

Skills for Study (requires University of Gloucestershire login) is a self-paced, self-guided learning tool to help develop your academic study skills. Work through each module in turn or focus on the areas you feel you need help to improve.

The first time you log in, you will be asked to set up a personal account using your University of Gloucestershire email address.
