During lockdown, Zoe Simmons photographs a series of Cosmetics and Beauty still lifes’ ‘The Inner Contents.’

For the Personal Portfolio, I wanted to create a body of work within my area of specialisation which is Cosmetics and Beauty. I have always had a huge passion for cosmetics and how creative you can be with them, so I have now included that love into my photography.

Within this series, I really wanted to explore the elements and textures of the inner contents of the product itself, and show the product in a different style rather than your simple advertisement. So, here I have created diptych’s of ‘The Inner Contents’ of your everyday cosmetics.
