This image was from a live brief set by Superdry, as part of our module Editorial Photography with Moving Image module.

After the briefing from Carl Halford, Lead Brand Creative at Superdry, it was clear that the work needed to be heavily influenced by nostalgia for Superdry’s target audience.

I decided that I wanted my images to channel the 90’s skateboarding scene, taking inspiration from movies such as ‘Mid-90’s’ and ‘Lords of Dogtown’. For the presentation of the final images, I wanted them to be presented with a scrapbook feel.
