This month\u2019s archive item has a suitably wintery theme and is the latest accession to our Whittington Press Collection. Midwinter<\/i> is a beautifully presented set of wood engravings by Whittington Press stalwart Miriam Macgregor.<\/p>\n

The engravings depict snowy Cotswold scenes compiled by Miriam during the snowy winter of 2010-2011.<\/p>\n

The edition is number 59 of 265 copies and is signed by the author.<\/div>\n

In March 2013 the University of Gloucestershire will be launching the Imprint Printmaking Festival. There will be a talk by John Randle of the Whittington Press on Saturday 9th March 2013.
