{"id":2132,"date":"2018-05-29T15:37:28","date_gmt":"2018-05-29T14:37:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/specialcollections\/?p=2132"},"modified":"2018-05-29T15:37:28","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T14:37:28","slug":"come-along-to-our-dymock-poets-cataloguing-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/specialcollections\/2018\/05\/29\/come-along-to-our-dymock-poets-cataloguing-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Come along to our Dymock Poets cataloguing group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Special Collections and Archives have teamed up with the <a href=\"http:\/\/dymockpoets.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Friends of the Dymock Poets<\/a> to organise a cataloguing group to help access some of our Dymock Poets material in more detail.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting once a month, the aim of the sessions is to transcribe some of the original correspondence we hold by and about the Dymock Poets, but also to meet, \u00a0have a chat about all aspects of the poets and discover some gems from the collection.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside working on the Rowland Watson\/ Edward Thomas Memories papers, there are opportunities to transcribe letters of Helen Thomas, Myfanwy Thomas, Eleanor Farjeon and Edward Thomas.<\/p>\n<p>The group is open to all who have an interest in the Dymock Poets and is a great opportunity to get hands-on with some of their material.<\/p>\n<p>Meetings are scheduled on the following dates:<\/p>\n<p>Friday 8<sup>th<\/sup> June<\/p>\n<p>Friday 13<sup>th<\/sup> July<\/p>\n<p>Friday 10<sup>th<\/sup> August<\/p>\n<p>Friday 14<sup>th<\/sup> September<\/p>\n<p>Friday 5<sup>th<\/sup> October (Friends of the Dymock Poets 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary weekend)<\/p>\n<p>Friday 9<sup>th<\/sup> November<\/p>\n<p>Friday 14<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/p>\n<p>All sessions start at 11am and are held in the Special Collections and Archives at Delta Place, 27 Bath Road, Cheltenham, GL53 7TH.
