They can be seen re-enacting scenes from Noah&#8217;s Ark dressed in fabulous animal costumes. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:Arial\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.googleapis.com\/v\/0x4dK6Ti0Wg&#038;source=uds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/youtube.googleapis.com\/v\/0x4dK6Ti0Wg&#038;source=uds<\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">The School went on to become the Gloucestershire College of Art in 1959, Gloucestershire College of Arts and Technology (GlosCAT) in 1980, then merged with the College of St Paul and St Mary in 1990 to form Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education (phew!). CGCHE became the University of Gloucestershire in 2001.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">The Special Collections and Archives hold some archive material relating to the Cheltenham School of Arts and Crafts. We have prospectuses from 1912 onwards and committee minutes from 1929 onwards. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:Arial\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:Arial\">The 1924-1925 prospectus details a variety of day and evening classes on offer, including life drawing, antique drawing, modelling design, illustration, etching, leather work, drapery studies, ironwork design, stained-glass design, typography and wood carving.
