Details of this post are at:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/r-p-e.blogspot.com\/2006\/12\/ones-who-walk-away-from-omelas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/r-p-e.blogspot.com\/2006\/12\/ones-who-walk-away-from-omelas.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/subjectsandcourses\/undergraduatefields\/ez\/descriptors\/ez205.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EZ205 (Ethics and Language), <\/a>we have covered a number of ethical theories, and I wanted to raise some of the related issues with the class. I would like you to look at the story and consider your response in a number of ways\u2026.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the nature of the ethical problem here?
