{"id":874,"date":"2007-09-13T09:03:00","date_gmt":"2007-09-13T09:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/rpe\/2007\/09\/13\/natural"},"modified":"2007-09-13T09:03:00","modified_gmt":"2007-09-13T09:03:00","slug":"natural","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/rpe\/2007\/09\/13\/natural\/","title":{"rendered":"Natural?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi.<\/p>\n<p>As part of our induction activities for new students next week, we shall be asking them what is meant by term &#8216;natural&#8217;: what does it mean to talk of an &#8216;unnatural&#8217; practice &#8211; especially as an evaluative moral term?<\/p>\n<p>We shall be spending some time at a place where people go to spend time in &#8216;nature&#8217; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestry.gov.uk\/westonbirt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Westonbirt Arboretum<\/a>) &#8211; what does it mean to call such a place &#8216;natural&#8217;? &#8211; And does spending time in such places assist us in reflection?
