Roger Widdecombe of St. Pauls"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This week students exploring the nature and location of religion in Cheltenham had the opportunity to discuss the place of St.Pauls Church in the city&#8217;s religious and spiritual landscape. Roger provided students with an energetic and dynamic set of responses to a diverse number of questions. We covered a great deal of ground which touched upon food poverty in the area, social outreach, projects on the international scene, gender inclusivity and the alpha course. Roger proved to be a generous host and despite lockdown mitigation we managed to have a very insightful session on line. In fact as this module unfolds we are gaining a much more nuanced and in depth understanding of the role that online interconnectivity has played in sustaining faith communities through out lockdown.
