{"id":5179,"date":"2019-09-23T10:52:34","date_gmt":"2019-09-23T09:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/rpe\/?p=5179"},"modified":"2019-09-23T10:52:34","modified_gmt":"2019-09-23T09:52:34","slug":"university-of-gloucestershire-rpe-and-climate-change-activism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/rpe\/2019\/09\/23\/university-of-gloucestershire-rpe-and-climate-change-activism\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Gloucestershire RPE and Climate Change Activism."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As an active researcher in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at University of Gloucestershire I have started to work with members of a number of climate crisis groups looking at the various issues that inspire them to engage in direct action.&nbsp;This weekend I was invited to the Beacon in Stroud&nbsp;to&nbsp;discuss related issues with&nbsp;members of&nbsp; the Extinction Rebellion and &#8216;Stop Ecocide&#8217;&nbsp;groups&#8230;there is a great deal more to these movements that that which is reported in the media.
