UNI GLOS RPE and Heathenism.

On the RPE field trip to Glastonbury students were experienced a superb introduction to Heathenism as it is practised in the UK today. Our host was Stuart Brogan, one of the foremost spokespersons for contemporary Heathenism who invited us in to his dedicated shop called Shield Maiden. Stuart took us on a fascinating journey through the spiritual landscape of the practising Heathen, explaining how this divers tradition is understood in the Northern European context, condemning its appropriation by certain elements of Nationalist politics and explaining that in Heathernism the responsibility lies with the individual and the way that she/he develops their relationship with the Gods and Goddesses.
