This will allow existing users to access their previously saved usage data such as progress, assessment scores, bookmarks and journal entries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 12th December, the first time users log in to the site with their institutional username and password (Shibboleth authentication), they will see the page below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/2022\/12\/skills-for-study-1024x460.jpg\" alt=\"Image of web page for users to confirm email address or create a new account.\" class=\"wp-image-2050\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/265\/2022\/12\/skills-for-study-1024x460.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/265\/2022\/12\/skills-for-study-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/265\/2022\/12\/skills-for-study-768x345.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/265\/2022\/12\/skills-for-study.jpg 1221w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Users who already have an account should click on the \u201cConfirm your email address\u201d button \u2013 this is a one-time process. (Brand new users should click the \u201cCreate new account\u201d button.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once users submit the form, an email will be sent to them containing a verification link which they should click on to complete the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The URL will also change.
