As a graduate, there will be opportunities to support our team of industry professionals on a number of cross divisional projects.&nbsp; &nbsp;As part of the role, you will receive support and mentoring in working towards Chartership of the Landscape Institute (Pathway to Chartership).&nbsp; The role requires someone who is innovative, keen to contribute to a creative team, has good written and verbal communication skills and has a keen eye for quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Key responsibilities:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Assisting senior landscape architects in all aspects of project work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Client meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Developing graphics and visual material to support concept designs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Producing accurate CAD plans and details for detailed design packages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Preparing planting plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Attending client meetings during both concept and site stages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Organising and contributing to Continuing Professional Development activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The ideal candidate will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Be a team player who takes initiative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Hold a bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, a diploma in Landscape Garden Design, or a degree in a related subject<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Show evidence of design skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Competence in CAD &amp; software packages (e.g. Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign), Microsoft 365)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Have some knowledge of construction detailing for landscapes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Have a passion for sustainability within design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Be looking to acquire new skills\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Have a full, clean UK driving licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Desirable:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Competence in CAD software e.g. Sketchup, AutoCAD, 3dsMax, KeySCAPE, Rhino etc<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Good plant knowledge or experience working in horticulture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Some experience working in a design studio (1-2 years)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicholsonsgb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Nichs-Benefits-infographic-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Click here<\/em><\/a>to view our full benefits package<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This position is a full-time role.&nbsp;
