{"id":2113,"date":"2014-09-30T07:10:40","date_gmt":"2014-09-30T06:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/landscapearchitecture\/?p=1348"},"modified":"2014-09-30T07:10:40","modified_gmt":"2014-09-30T06:10:40","slug":"piet-oudolf-landscape-exhibition-hauser-and-wirth-somerset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/landscapearchitecture\/2014\/09\/30\/piet-oudolf-landscape-exhibition-hauser-and-wirth-somerset\/","title":{"rendered":"Piet Oudolf landscape &amp; exhibition, Hauser and Wirth, Somerset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If anyone has the opportunity then get down to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hauserwirthsomerset.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hauser and Wirth gallery in Bruton<\/a>, Somerset this week to see the exhibition of Piet Oudolf&#8217;s drawings. It closes 5th October so this weekend is the last chance. You can get a direct train from Bath, Bristol and Gloucester and it stops about a 5 minute walk from the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>It has a series of fantastic gallery spaces with a great exhibition of Phyllida Barlow&#8217;s installations, but if you are interested in landscape then the Piet Oudolf exhibition is excellent &#8211; you can see his design drawings in various stages of development which is very interesting for those learning to use planting in that way.<\/p>\n<p>There is also the Oudolf Field, a landscape designed by Oudolf, as one of the permanent works of art on the land. Planted this year it is already looking fantastic. If you don&#8217;t make it for the drawings exhibition then the Field is open to visit all year round.<\/p>\n<p><a
