WILD BEAUTY

This month (April) and next are ideal times to look at wild nature. Yesterday driving back from Stroud farmers market I saw amazing drifts of wild garlic along the road verges. I stopped and took a picture. Later I visited nearby Standish wood where the bluebells are at their electric blue best. My own favourite garden plant (some might say weed) is the garlic mustard, the food plant of the orange tip butterfly caterpillar (why I leave it in my garden edges). Pictures below if you don’t know any of these. BM
