Re-launch of the History Society

Coinciding with the beginning of a new academic year, the History Society at the University of Gloucestershire is being re-launched. The History Society seeks to bring together students with an interest in history at all levels, for both academic and social purposes.

There will be an informal meeting of the Society this coming Monday 8th October at Francis Close Hall campus to be followed by a trip to a local pub. The Society will be discussing organizational matters and thinking about planning events which students may like to get involved in. The Society welcomes the contributions and participation of all, and we hope you will help to make it a great success.
