His research examines the normalisation and acceptance of violence within correctional settings. She has spent more than 30 years working in penal reform latterly as Research Director at the Howard League for Penal Reform. She is about to receive her Doctorate from the University of New South Wales in Australia. Her thesis explores the uses of artistic languages to implement moral reparations for victims of gross violations of human rights. Her research focuses on the societal intersections and inequalities in abuse, most recently focusing on female perpetrators, and victims of domestic and gender-based abuse. She is passionate about learning being transformatory for the individual and for communities focussing on participatory, student centred and student-led learning which enables sharing knowledge and developing each person\u2019s sense of personal ability to make change, either of ourselves, communities or more widely. Her main teaching areas are Sexual Violence; Hate Studies and Genocide, Criminological and Sociological Theory; Injustice; Social Harms; Research Methods and Liberation campaigns. Her research focuses on sexual violence and on grassroots exchange. His research interests centre on the intersection of arts and culture, urban regeneration, and ethnonational violence within the divided societies of Northern Ireland and Lebanon. She runs regular writing sessions for UG and PG students, working alongside them to demystify the process of academic writing. Lula\u2019s research focus is victimisation and criminalisation in the context of reproduction justice which intersects with her interest in activism and digital victimisation, issues of health &amp; justice, and crimes of the powerful. She is also interested in the role Police play in delivering health-focused interventions. She is now pursuing a PhD in Law at KU Leuven on access to justice for indigenous women in post-conflict settings using a case study of Guatemala. She is member of the Editorial Board of the Leuven Transitional Justice Blog and Policy Officer at the International Development Cooperation Office, Herent, Belgium, where she works closely in partnership with Guatemalan indigenous communities at a local level. Prior to that, she was a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Programme Caretaker at Arden University. She has a PhD in Criminology, and her research focuses on ways to enhance community-based services for people who have a sexual attraction to minors, as well as those who are at risk of and\/or have perpetrated sexual abuse against children. Her research explores the operationalisation, meaning and expression of \u2018vulnerabilities to harms\u2019 in policy and practice contexts. Her current research focuses on women\u2019s prisons as localised drug use contexts and gendered harms. Victoria&#8217;s PhD seeks to further understanding of recovery and justice in legal, family and community, and peer contexts of victims of human trafficking. Alongside her studies, Victoria has previously worked at the International Victimology Institute Tilburg (Netherlands). She has experience in qualitative research methodologies and communicating research to diverse stakeholders.
