Professor Susannah Quinsee<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Truth or dare? What role does digital literacy play in transforming universities?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe problem with quotes on the Internet is that you can’t always be sure of their authenticity.” <\/em>(Abraham Lincoln)<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In this keynote we will explore what a university education means in a changing world, where technological innovations are rapid and disruptive, where we have limited resources, where student needs are changing and where staff morale is low. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking a collaborative approach and assuming a playful mindset, we will together explore responses to the higher education landscape we find ourselves in, unpick what we mean by “digital literacy” and explore what pedagogical innovation might look like to support the changes we need to empower both staff and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning from each other, we will commit to individual actions we can take away to make a positive difference in our work with students and staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susannah Quinsee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Professor Susannah Quinsee is Vice-President (Digital and Student Experience) at City St George\u2019s, University of London. As Vice-President, she is the strategic lead for digital transformation as well as leading institutional projects and strategy to support student experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is an EMCC accredited coach, a National Teaching Fellow, a SEDA Senior Fellow and AdvanceHE HEA Principal Fellow, and was an AdvanceHE Learning and Teaching Excellence Ambassador. She researches on university digital futures and playful practice and leadership and is a Lego Serious Play practitioner.   <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
