PGR Three Minute Thesis Competition Final

Thursday 7 July, 15.30-16.00, Online
80,000 word thesis, one slide, three minutes… who’s going to win?
An 80,000 word thesis would take nine hours to present; our finalists have explained theirs in just three minutes with the aid of a single slide!
The 3MT competition challenges finalists to present a compelling spoken presentation on their research topic and its significance in three minutes in a language appropriate to a non‐specialist audience. Competitors are allowed one PowerPoint slide, but no other resources or props.

This year’s awards went to:
Awards Winner Prize and People’s Vote Winner – Kirsten Wing, School of Sport and Exercise

Runner-Up Prize Winner – Theo Lenormand, Countryside and Community Research Institute

Kirsten will be going forward to the National Vitae 3MT quarter finals.
