{"id":688,"date":"2018-03-27T16:55:25","date_gmt":"2018-03-27T16:55:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandad\/?p=688"},"modified":"2024-06-06T07:48:54","modified_gmt":"2024-06-06T07:48:54","slug":"russian-fashion-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto\/2018\/03\/27\/russian-fashion-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Russian Fashion Success"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>News in concerning three of our current third years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Generation\u00a0Next 2018<\/em>\u00a0is one of the biggest fashion exhibitions in the Russian fashion industry and is held annually in St. Petersburg.\u00a0The exhibition\u00a0unites\u00a0students from the associated fashion disciplines of\u00a0costume design, textiles, graphic design in fashion, fashion\u00a0photography and\u00a0fashion illustration.\u00a0Each\u00a0year young designers\u00a0from all over Russia and the world enter and this year saw 140 projects submitted for possible exhibition. It was the first year\u00a0that some of our students submitted work nominated by Course Leader Trudie Ballantyne and all three that entered images were successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sarah\u00a0Whelan\u00a0was\u00a0awarded\u00a0a nomination of fashion\u00a0photography\u00a0with her project\u00a0<em>Savage<\/em>\u00a0documenting the\u00a0club based in East London (Image 1 below) created during the book section of her Final Major Project. Whilst,\u00a0Emma Chard (Image 2 below)\u00a0and Sam Deaman (Image 3 below)\u00a0received\u00a0diplomas as competition finalists.
