While I was working on this module I had a booked commission with an artist friend of mine who wanted promotional images to go along with his album. I decided I could work this shoot into my assignment also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After hearing the album, I knew the concept was very personal and emotional so I wanted to create the feeling of isolation and loneliness. Also through speaking to the artist I found that the jewellery and tattoo had a lot of meaning to them so I wanted to make sure that they were highlighted within the shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was overall happy with the outcome of the shoot and especially when the image got chosen to be the main artwork for the album also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had been researching high fashion luxury brands and how they do their campaigns and wanted to recreate this but with the edgier more real style that vans have.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recreated the style of product shot you would see from the likes of Balenciaga\/Dior etc. but used an actual worn and broken Vans trainer. and then along with this i created the copy of ‘Destroyed through use’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the same these I went out with the actual owner of the trainers to a skate park to capture where the target audience would be destroying the shoes and kept the same copy line going throughout the target audience image.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
