I chose the sustainability brief as it allowed me to shoot portraits. For this project I contacted a local group of volunteers called \u2018The Cheltenham Tree Group\u2019. These volunteers donate many hours of their time to grow and maintain trees that they then sell. The funds raised are then donated to charities, often that support tree planting in both the UK and abroad. It was a great opportunity to support such a great cause and to meet some interesting people. We decided upon producing a short piece that featured at night and created a feeling of unease.\u00a0 We both had little experience with moving image, however we persevered and learned many new skills along the way, as well as having fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Twisted Lane\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/905138111?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To accompany the moving image, I created a zine that maintained the focus of car and street photography. I wanted to produce a series of images that carried on the theme of our moving image, by having that sense of unease. The images identify places that are frequently driven past by cars but with a closer look. I Took inspiration from Langdon Clay\u2019s series \u2018Cars, New York City\u2019, where he took long exposures of cars lit by colourful lights.
