Morgan poem, whose words touch upon similar themes and experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was heavily influenced by Surrealism and drew inspiration from artists such as Francesca Woodman and Dora Maar; my main goal was to create images which were abstract and ethereal to emphasise the haunting elements of the narrative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1500\" data-id=\"3410\" data-link=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/?attachment_id=3410\" data-url=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/441\/2020\/07\/ibbaa-2.jpg\" data-width=\"1001\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2020\/07\/ibbaa-2.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/figure><\/div><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1500\" data-id=\"3412\" data-link=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/?attachment_id=3412\" data-url=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/441\/2020\/07\/ibbaa2-1.jpg\" data-width=\"1066\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2020\/07\/ibbaa2-1.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With the photo book itself, I wanted to throw people off balance to create a more disoriented experience much like what the character within the narrative is experiencing. The first and last images are similar, one being inverted, to represent a return to a &#8216;new normal&#8217;. Similarly to the current pandemic, people are gradually returning to their&nbsp;normal lives, with a few changes &#8211; we will all be impacted by these ongoing events, which will continue to influence us in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1500\" data-id=\"3411\" data-link=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/?attachment_id=3411\" data-url=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/441\/2020\/07\/ibbaa3-2.jpg\" data-width=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2020\/07\/ibbaa3-2.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8216;If Bitten by an Angel&#8217; is a photo book project created in lockdown, inspired by and titled after the David R.
