We all know that society&#8217;s need for physical perfection has deeply affected people&#8217;s mental and physical health. We all feel pressured to look a certain way, and because of this, we are never happy with what we already are or have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"2000\" data-id=\"2671\" data-link=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/?attachment_id=2671\" data-url=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/441\/2019\/12\/Unknown-1-1.jpg\" data-width=\"1333\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2019\/12\/Unknown-1-1.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>What I\u2019ve tried to portray in this series, is the idea that we are so imprisoned by stereotypes that we don\u2019t actually know how beautiful we are; we are so trapped in society&#8217;s \u201cset of rules\u201d that we cannot truly see ourselves. As a consequence of that, we end up losing ourselves in this obsession of looking perfect. We silence that part of us that feels that we might not be how we actually want to be, but we feel that if we don&#8217;t do what we are supposed to, we are going to be left behind.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1333\" data-id=\"2673\" data-link=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/?attachment_id=2673\" data-url=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/441\/2019\/12\/Unknown-2-1.jpg\" data-width=\"2000\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2019\/12\/Unknown-2-1.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the T-Mobile brand shows a way of life, not only the product, I decided to show something that could be nostalgic and create an identity within the advert, without actually having a cell phone in the photograph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1311\" data-id=\"2627\" data-link=\"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/2019\/12\/06\/first-year-international-student-vanessa-carvalho-shoots-work-for-t-mobile-brief-as-part-of-module-work__trashed\/tmobile4\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/edandadphoto2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/441\/2019\/12\/TMobile4.jpg\" data-width=\"1800\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/edandadphoto\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2019\/12\/TMobile4.jpg?ssl=1\" \/><\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted to show that even when we grow up, our interaction with our friends doesn&#8217;t change much. The object itself might change, but we carry the same people and habits with us. And to me, it\u2019s a humorous way to show that people still know what this activity is.
