{"id":582,"date":"2020-01-19T21:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uniofglos.blog\/chaplaincy\/?p=582"},"modified":"2020-01-19T21:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T21:00:00","slug":"getting-going","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/chaplaincy\/2020\/01\/19\/getting-going\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting going"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Come and join us as our programme for the term gets going fully.                              <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>Park Faith Space<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On Tuesday at 12.30pm we will be gathering for <strong>A Walk in the Park <\/strong>with the dogs <\/li><li>On Wednesday at 1pm our first <strong>Big Questions Cafe <\/strong>of the term, will involved free lunch and lively conversation from a range of faiths and world views<\/li><li>On Thursday <strong>Soul Space <\/strong>will now begin at 8.30am for gentle prayer and breakfast<\/li><li>On Friday the <strong>Friday Bake <\/strong>will be at 2.30pm making muffins, followed by <strong>Breathe <\/strong>now at 4.30pm<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>FCH Chapel<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> On Monday at 5.15pm <strong>Cake &amp; Chat <\/strong>begins again &#8211; with hellos and a farewell<\/li><li>On Wednesday at 5.00pm at  <strong>Soul Food <\/strong>we&#8217;ll be reflecting on a poem together.<\/li><li>Then from 7.00pm &#8211; 9.00pm <strong>World Cafe <\/strong>will be taking over the Chapel as usual for table tennis, games and hot chocolate on tap.<\/li><li>On Thursday at 12.30pm our <strong>Communion <\/strong>will be in the <strong>Faith Space <\/strong>followed by lunch (as the Chapel is in use).<\/li><li>Later on Thursday at 7.30pm the <strong>University and Community Choir <\/strong>begins again &#8211; come and give it a try!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>Oxstalls Faith Space<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On Tuesday at 8.30am we gather at <strong>Soul Space<\/strong> for prayers and croissants <\/li><li>On Thursday at 12.30pm we&#8217;ll be making things at <strong>Crafty Lunchtime<\/strong><\/li><li>Later at 4.30pm in the afternoon we come together for <strong>Cake &amp; Chat<\/strong>  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pittville Faith Space <\/strong>will be open all<strong> <\/strong>week, and Jon our Chaplain will be around at Monday teatime and Thursday lunctime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might also be interested in this lecture on John&#8217;s Gospel by a visiting Cambridge professor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/uniofglos.blog\/chaplaincy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2020\/01\/vanKooten-January-2019-scaled.jpg?fit=724%2C1024&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-584\" width=\"344\" height=\"486\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Come and join us as our programme for the term gets going fully.
