Find a time and a place where you can be comfortable, and undisturbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Find a way of sitting which is relaxed but alert, and open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spend a few moments quietly being still – letting things go – noticing the sounds around – noticing your breathing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Offer this time to God and ask for his grace as you look back over your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Read Psalm 23 two or three times, slowly… <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lord is my shepherd; therefore can I lack nothing.<\/p>
He makes me lie down in green pastures and leads me beside still waters. <\/p>
He shall refresh my soul and guide me in the paths of righteousness for his name\u2019s sake.<\/p>
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,<\/p>
I will fear no evil; <\/p>
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. <\/p>
You spread a table before me in the presence of those who trouble me; <\/p>
you have anointed my head with oil and my cup shall be full.<\/p>
Surely goodness and loving mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, <\/p>
