Young Content Creators: Video Editing Crash Course

This creative journey will start our young people down the path of being engaging, entertaining and safe content creators.

We have enlisted the help of technical experts and established content creators to teach our students everything they need to know to be safe.

Each school should seek to enlist 3-5 students Year 9 and above.

This is highly applicable to media students, but also any students with a special interest and the motivation to create high quality social media content. Schools have no obligation to attend every event.

Students will be offered workshops and talks that will enable them to take over the CEP social media streams with their own content. This content can be both CEP related and linked to content they work on individually/in groups. Created content will be hosted by us after review.

Talks from the fantastic Phil Carr and Dr Idrees Mughal (a few million followers between them!) will provide all of the real-life advice needed to pursue a career in content creation – which is a legitimate option for many young people.

This will take the fantastic student takeover we already have to new heights and support the Spill the Tea podcast – In this sense it is part Skills Builders and part Change Makers!
