As we head into the busy end of the school year. the CEP programme for 2023/24 begins to wind down with our showcase season.
There have been a number of events over April that have continued the excellent work of pupils and teachers in the partnership. The highlight of which has been the Young Poets Slam Competition 2024.

This event was truly special, with 30 poets delivering exceptional poems to a packed crowd at Cleeve School. A huge congratulations to Veronika, Gaia and Fortune who took home 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively for their amazing performances.
This year’s Mars Rover project also reached its conclusion, with 4 working machines tested on the final day. A huge thankyou to Mr Squire at Cleeve for putting this one.

The final standalone event of the year will be our ACE Sustainable Design Day in collaboration with the ACE team at the University of Gloucestershire. School teams will be set to redevelop a plot of land in order to create a brand new sustainable development. The winners will take home the coveted trophy!
June will see a few remaining projects come to a close, with both Civics and Literature Society completing for the year.
Our Changemakers teams will takeover the Wilson museum on June 19th at 6pm to show the whole town what they have been upto with their incredible projects in school this year.
We are well into the planning process for next year, so what this space for more exciting developments in CEP!
