ADDING AN EPISODE OF CARE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In part 1, you need to complete one episode of care. This can be completed in either placement 1 or placement 2 however we recommend you complete the episode of care in placement 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parts 2 and 3, you must complete 2 episodes of care, one in each placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please read the guidelines that are provided in the ePAD before completing the Episode of Care as the requirements differ for each part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FORMATIVE & SUMMATIVE EPISODES OF CARE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ePAD provides the opportunity for you to complete a formative Episode of Care as well as the summative episode of care. Although the formative episode of care is not mandatory, it is recommended, especially in Part 1, as it will give you a chance to practice completing the episode of care and ensure that you are completing it correctly. You can have feedback from your practice Assessor on your formative episode of care before attempting the summative Episode of Care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COMPLETING THE EPISODE OF CARE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To complete the episode of care, click on the menu to the top left of the ePAD and select Episodes of Care. Next select the episode of care you wish to complete, either 1 or 2 and click on either the formative or summative episode of care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To allow you to enter your text, click on \u2018Submission 1\u2019 and then complete the green boxes with your reflection from your episode of care. Once you have completed entering the test of your reflections, click the green \u2018Save and Submit\u2019 button at the bottom right of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will now need to select your practice assessor from the list to the left of the screen and drag their email address to the right of the screen. Please note \u2013 the episode of care must be completed by your practice assessor, practice supervisors are not permitted to complete this section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
