The orientation is required for every placement and must be completed by the end of the first day. Once you have been given an orientation to your placement, you need to complete the orientation form and request that it is verified by your Practice Assessor or Practice Supervisor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, log into the ePAD, click the menu to the top left and select \u2018Placements\u2019. Next, select your current placement from the list and the select \u2018Orientation\u2019 at the top left of the screen as shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, click the check box at the bottom of the screen to indicate that you have completed the orientation and click the blue button to \u2018Request verification by Practice Supervisor or Assessor\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you have clicked the button you will need to add either your Practice assessor or supervisor \u2013 you only need to add one person here. To add an assessor, you need to drag their name from the left to the right of the screen. To add a supervisor you need to type their email address in the greenbox at the bottom of the screen. Once you have done this, click the red button \u2018OK, request approval for this orientation\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, after you have been given a demonstration of any moving and handling equipment and any relevant medical devices, tick the last box and click the blue \u2018Save\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
