The solution is to delete the cookies and allow websites to recreate them as needed. To delete cookies, please follow the instructions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Please note that this will delete all stored passwords, so you will need to reenter passwords to log into any of your usual web pages and ARC. and &#8220;Cached images and files&#8221; are ticked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Click Delete data&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"284\" height=\"96\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.glos.ac.uk\/arcsupport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/159\/sites\/440\/2025\/03\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1567\" style=\"width:250px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Once you have cleared all the cookies and browser data from your web browser, please remember to <strong>close all browser tabs and restart your computer<\/strong> before trying to access ARC again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">You can also clear your browsing data on an Android device by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Opening Chrome<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Tapping More on the right of the address bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Tapping Delete browsing data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Set the duration to All time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Click Delete data&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting cookies in Microsoft Edge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Open Microsoft Edge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Select Settings and more in the upper right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Select Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Select Privacy, search, and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Under Time range, choose a time range<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Select Cookies and other site data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Select Clear now&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Once you have cleared all the cookies and browser data from your web browser, please remember to <strong>close all browser tabs and restart your computer<\/strong> before trying to access ARC again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting cookies in Safari on Mac<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-gb\/guide\/safari\/sfri11471\/mac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apple help pages<\/a> before making any changes to your computer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">You can see all the websites that have stored&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-gb\/guide\/safari\/aside\/glos0126d795\/18.0\/mac\/15.0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cookies and website data<\/a>&nbsp;on your Mac, and you can remove some or all of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Go to the Safari app&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"30\" width=\"30\" src=\"https:\/\/help.apple.com\/assets\/674E29452A605B20AB0728F7\/674E294742A318B69C0EE97F\/en_GB\/6846073fc6f766d1ad3f66ae757c5e24.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;on your Mac.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Choose Safari &gt; Settings, then click Privacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Click Manage Website Data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-gb\/guide\/safari\/aside\/glos3b057c3a\/18.0\/mac\/15.0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Select<\/a>&nbsp;one or more websites, then click Remove or Remove All.
