COMPLETING THE OAR – ONGOING ACHIEVEMENT RECORD
The OAR must be completed by your Practice Assessor at the end of every placement – if this is not done correctly, your Academic Assessor will not be able to complete your ePAD assessment at the end of the year.
IF YOU ARE IN THE FIRST PLACEMENT IN EACH PART
For the first placement, e.g. placement 1,3 or 5, your assessor needs to complete the OAR for the placement only. To enable them to be able to do this, you need to select the ‘OAR’ from the menu at the top left of the ePAD and then click on the name of your current placement.
To invite your assessor you need to click on the blue ‘Invite Assessor’ button and follow the prompts. Please note, this must be completed by your assessor, your practice supervisor is not permitted to complete this section.
Before inviting your assessor to complete the OAR, check that you have completed the Final Interview and if necessary your episode of care and medicines management. You must also have completed, and have signed off, all proficiencies that are available to you in this placement.
IF YOU ARE IN THE SECOND PLACEMENT IN EACH PART
For the second placement in the part, e.g. placement 2,4 or 6, your practice assessor needs to complete both the section for this placement and the end of part section.
**Important** – you must invite your practice assessor to the OAR for both the placement and the end of the part to allow them to be able to complete the correct sections.
You will need to click on the blue ‘Invite Assessor’ button for each section but before you do, please ensure that you have completed all parts of the ePAD including your final interview, all episodes of care, the medicines management, and all proficiencies.
