Alumni benefits
Our alumni are entitled to a whole range of benefits and opportunities.
Discover a range of benefits available to alumni of University of Gloucestershire including scholarships, careers support and more.
Scholarships
Alumni who decide to come back and study a Master’s, postgraduate diploma or PGCE will receive an automatic tuition fee discount of 15% off tuition fees for UoG progressors for 2024 entry and beyond.
The discount applies to graduates progressing from a UoG undergraduate degree (Level 6) to a postgraduate degree (Level 7) such as a Masters or PGCE; or a postgraduate degree (Level 7) to a Doctoral degree (Level 8) such as a PhD or Prof Doc.
Many students decide to return to improve their career prospects (think higher-skilled jobs and new contacts), or to change careers entirely.
We have plenty of courses to choose from, including some conversion courses that allow you to join without an undergraduate degree in the same subject area. You can also choose to study full or part-time.
Discover our postgraduate degree courses, or view further information about scholarships.
Higher and degree Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships allow people to earn qualifications whilst working (they must work at least 30 hours per week). They are a cost-effective way for employers to upskill their workforce.
Higher and degree apprenticeships result in qualifications at level 4 (the equivalent of the first year of an undergraduate degree) and above.
At University of Gloucestershire, we offer programmes up to level 7 (Master’s level). Whether you are looking to study, or you are an employer, discover further information about our apprenticeships.
